Alin Pepene Senior Management, Mechanical & Electrical, London
Alin is a Technical Director based in our London office. He is a Chartered engineer with 15 years of industry experience across the UK and abroad. Alin understands the performance aspects of the building envelope and options and can translate this into the most appropriate M&E and environmental solution for the building. He is an excellent communicator and team leader who will ensure that project design development and integration of the mechanical services will be undertaken with the architectural team.

Carol is a Technical Director based in our Edinburgh office. She leads the BIM programme for Harley Haddow and is responsible for drawing/modelling production and resourcing on our projects. She has 30 years of experience in the industry. Carol specialises in drawing production and management and has extensive knowledge of BIM software applications and processes. She has worked on a wide variety of building projects in healthcare, industrial, education, commercial and retail sectors both in the UK and abroad. She has experience in developing standards, processes and best practice for implementation across the business.

Chris has extensive experience in the design and construction of both new build and refurbishment projects across most construction sectors. Chris’s responsibilities include supervision of the Civil & Structural design team, project delivery, project management and SER Certification. During his career, he has led many design projects with a well natured and thorough approach that sees him popular with clients and fellow professionals. Chris also takes a lead role in the training and developing of graduates and ICE trainees.

Chris has over 30 years’ experience of the design and delivery of projects over the UK and overseas in the MENA regions. His experience ranges across all sectors with particular expertise in the cultural & leisure and education sectors involving the refurbishment and conservation of heritage buildings. He has a particular expertise in the initial stages of a project working with the other design team members to shape the building solution. He adopts a hands-on approach retaining involvement from inception to completion.

Building on this Ewan is pioneering Harley Haddow’s work on Embodied Carbon and works closely with our Energy and Sustainability team.
