We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our Truly Talented team.

Your role
You will have an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for hospitality and a proven track record of growing fantastic teams by leading from the front, while keeping your guests at heart of everything that you do.
We are looking for someone that holds and enjoys maintaining high standards, with keen attention to detail. Experience within the luxury/boutique segment would be a real advantage.
The ideal person for this role will be a true epicurean – a food and drink enthusiast, who maintains a solid and up-to-date understanding of the restaurant and bar scene.
As an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, you will ensure the smooth operational running of the F&B outlets in order to deliver an excellent and memorable experience for our guests.
You will work closely with Food & Beverage Manager, leading and evolving the F&B operations at the hotel, driving revenue, ensuring that brand standards are met, and guests’ expectations are exceeded.
You’ll work in a busy and hardworking team environment, where you’ll continually learn and develop.

The core skills and experience required to succeed
- Truly passionate about the Hospitality Industry;
- Previous experience as an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, Restaurant or Bar Manager (ready for the step-up);
- Strong leadership and motivational skills which are capable of nurturing, developing and inspiring team members;
- Excellent personal presentation;
- Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures;
- Ability to work under pressure to deadlines and targets;
- Ability to function independently with a minimum of supervision;
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate verbally and in writing;
- To be an enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach and have experience in empowering a team to successfully meet expectations;
- Strong leadership and motivational skills which are capable of nurturing, developing and inspiring team members;
- An authentic and inspiring leader of people and business.
You must have the right to work in the UK to be eligible for this role. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from all candidates prior to commencing employment.
